We are the Colla Castellera d'Edinburgh and we build castells, aka human towers!

Castells is a Catalan tradition, declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2010 by UNESCO. This tradition consists in building different human towers as people climb on top of each other; the wider the base gets, the higher the castell reaches.

We started in 2015 and since then we have worked to build higher castells. Each castell we build is the result of universal values such as teamwork, solidarity, self-improvement, the feeling of belonging and the integration of people of all ages, genres, origins, races and social backgrounds.
